Additionally, in the spirit of "giving back" to support the local community, the tournament donated a very handsome portion of proceeds to our "Dominican Cause" orphanage and community transformation project.  All anglers and tournament staff were invited to return to the area in July to participate with us in providing for impoverished children and families as well as to do a little more marlin fishing.

We would also like to express our appreciation to Jon Gonsoulin and crew of The Done Deal, Capt. Kenney and Pat Ross of Amerita, and Rafi Casanova and the Four "C" Sons' team for making us feel at home by allowing us to join them on their boats during the tournament.  There is nothing more exciting than watching an experienced team of professionals work the lines during a hot bite!
